There are almost 14 million disabled people in the UK. Into to those 14 million, some dedicate their professional life to improve the lives of other individuals with a disability; Samanta is one of those people.
On the 8th of October 2019, at the Parliament, Samanta Bullock founder of the SB shop was honoured be part of the inclusion in the Shaw Trust Power List 100 2019. The honour was more than deserved due to the excellent work she has been doing within the fashion industry and for defending a fashion that houses bodies with disabilities.
The Shaw Trust Power 100, Shaw Trust is a charity that helps to transform the lives of young people and adults across the UK and internationally. It is unique in the UK and since being introduced 4 years ago, it has become well known in the disability community. The Shaw Trust Power 100 list aims to further inclusivity by celebrating the achievement of disabled people.
At SB shop, we don’t just accept diversity & inclusion, we celebrate it, we support it, and we succeed in it for the benefit of our colleagues, products, services and our partners. We also, encourage other fashion retailers and brands to invest in the inclusive fashion market; we need to make products that are for everyone.
