A few weeks ago Samanta travelled to Qatar with Qatar Airways, Wheel the World and Ooredoo to empower accessible travel experiences for all and travel without limits.
On the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Wheel the World and Ooredoo have launched an online platform to give information in Qatar, focused on accessible transportation and activities. That way, disabled people can enjoy Qatar without losing any experience of the city. In our travel to Qatar, we map a lot of accessibilities spots to create awareness on how disability-friendly this city is because we should all see the world in the same way.
More than 1/3 of the world population has a direct relation to disabilities. The existence of an online platform such as Wheel The World allows people with disabilities to search and book accommodation and experiences all over the world.
The partnership between Wheel the world and Ooredoo alongside Qatar Tourism has made possible the certification of several accessible hotels and tours in Qatar.
The development of this application and its Virtual Travel Assistant, an example for the world, to facilitate and make possible the discovery of Qatar for all people of all abilities.
Thus, we show the world how Qatar is a fully accessible destination with the necessary structure to welcome everyone. Getting ready for the major international football event being held in Doha in 2022.
“It was an amazing experience to discover such a magical place. For me, it was love at first sight”
While doing these adventures Samanta had the chance to wear some new garments of Gunda Hafner x SB summer 2020 collection! Spot any items you like?
