Jeans for Wheelchair Users

Choosing jeans as a wheelchair user is often not straightforward.  Traditional jeans are not designed for people who are seated so there are some things for designers to think about and things for wheelchair users to consider when selecting the most suitable pair of jeans.

4 ways to wear black & white

Black jeans and white shirts never lose their appeal and with the correct set of accessories and a perfect combination of supremely comfortable shoes will make you look great.  Here we have brought you ideas for you to add variety to the basic look…..

1.You can never overdo with red:

That is exactly right. Your white shirt and black jeans can be paired with an exotic bright red coat. Red makes a perfect combination of both white and black. Supremely comfortable Edgy moto boots and a silver necklace will do the rest. A chic bun or a low bun with small earrings will complete the look.

2. Printed scarves are always an option:

Wrap a nice warm cotton, silk or quilt knitted scarf around your neck over your white shirt and black jeans. Make sure you choose some bright colour to add spring look to your overall outfit. You can accessorize it with drop earrings whereas for footwear you can opt for dressy boots, riding boots or ankle boots to go with the look. Wear a hat and set all on fire!

3. Keep it dim:
Yes like that. Put on a puffer jacket over your white shirt and black jeans. Tie your hair in a high-and-sleek ponytail or messy-and-low ponytail. Put on riding boots and to add up a bit has small studs. That is it.  Hola! Look at you!

4. Very dark ain’t bad:

Dark colours are never out of fashion. Therefore, you can match a trendy faux jacket with the white shirt and black jeans. Lock a choker around your neck. Give your hair a beach-wavy messy look or keep it french braided. And there you go with a beautiful look.

Go out, show up babe!!

Hi guys

Long Skirt

In this youtube video, I give 5 tips on what to wear on your legs.  I explore what is comfortable, practical for my active and adventurous lifestyle and fashionable. I give some insight into the colours that I like at the moment, look at how one item can be used for a variety of looks, and give some ideas for wheelchair users in choosing clothes to wear as not all traditional clothes designs are ideal.

I focus on the practicality of clothes for travel and an active lifestyle so I go for clothes that do not crease and do not need to be ironed when I arrive at a destination.  It means I can look good with minimal effort.
