Right now, you’re probably aware that I am working with brands that have the same way of thinking as me. We are trying to become more inclusive, sustainable, organic and mainly I would say more real and authentic.
I do not work with any brand. I like to know a little about them, what is their purpose etc.
Contessina London is one of the brands that for me ticks all the boxes. I love jewellery, mainly sparkly ones. Who doesn’t like to shine? Her pieces are all handmade in Greece where she is from and her family still works there. They are expanding from Contessina Athens to Contessina London right now. I can see a bright future for this brand. It is so beautiful, graceful and chic.
As they say ‘EXCLUSIVE DESIGNS, INCLUSIVE PHILOSOPHY’
I had the honour to work with them and happy to promote the brand. Check them out and you will find a lot more information and how they make the jewellery, their thoughts etc.
The only thing I can say is, I am so happy to work as a model and influencer bring up the brands I really believe in and bring to the designers the importance of diversity in fashion. It is a win-win situation.
Social Media is a place where you can share your life, express yourself and become part of a community. You see, on Instagram, there are millions of users; millions of users that may share your vision, beliefs, and interests. It’s those people that you can connect with and form a positive partnership.
That’s why I put so much effort into Instagram because it allows me to showcase my passion for fashion and push the industry further. How? Well, for instance, some time back a brand approached me to try some of their clothing. Of course, they wanted me to give them some feedback, but in return, I was able to adorn a lovely piece of clothing. That’s how a partnership can help the fashion industry.
That brand was Palta Clothes, and I’m so glad they reached out to me. They’re completely unique in the way they operate, and it’s refreshing to see the awesome work that they’re doing. Their brand mission is to create sustainable clothing that includes everyone around the world. Palta truly wants their clothing to unite the world and be accessible to those that face daily struggles.
So far, they’ve done a pretty incredible job. Not only do they focus on being eco-friendly and affordable, they’ve decided to design stunning clothing for those who are less fortunate. According to their presentation, they’re targeting young people, 253 million visually impaired people, 25 million amputees, and 67 million wheelchair users.
Now, going back to my involvement with Palta, they provided me with a beautiful tunic that came in a gorgeous grey colour. The first thing I noticed was how brilliant the material was; it really felt like great quality. But, another thing which stood out was the versatility. I utilised the tunic in 4 different styles, and all of them looked super.
I adorned it with jeans for a casual look, on its own for comfort, with a belt to add some contrast and with a Peter Twiss jacket. I was so impressed with how they all appeared – I loved them! But, I gathered that when you choose Palta Clothes, you don’t just do it for the fashion. You join a brand that is pushing for a positive change across the world, and you are there to support them in their journey.
