Marcela was here in September and we did a photo shoot for Gunda Hafner with @Piotropacki. I think I talked about this in a previous blog. It was a fun day and we captured some amazing pictures for the launch of Gunda’s new collection. Marcela, known as ‘The Journey of a Brave Woman’ on Instagram, came to Europe to give a talk at the Rewalk conference in Germany and we decided that she should come a few days earlier so she could spend time with me and get to know London as my house is accessible. It was so fun to have her around. I could show her around and it looks like we are old friends and not only Insta followers. On the last day we decided to sit and film for you guys about the Rewalk and her experience ( I launched this film last month – Check it out) and we also decided to talk about fashion and representation. I put a film together of this talk that we did specially for you.
Yesterday was Marcela’s birthday so I would like to share this blog to congratulation her on that. Marcela, you are doing great work. Keep being real, keep being your authentic self and inspiring others. We love you hun.
I really hope you like it and please share for someone you think will like it and leave your comments, that are always welcome.
I am coming here to share my new vlog with you from a photo shoot I did with Roy Ikoroha in the city centre. Vinnette Grant lent me her beautiful red dress for the shoot with “My Samsonite” case on my 40th birthday.
Guess what, we lost the balloons. I wasn’t too sad about that, as I would need to come back home with it behind my chair, looking a little strange kkkkkkkkk.
Also everyone was wishing Happy Birthday which was cute and weird. People are so friendly. I had a such good time. For more please look the video and leave your comments or suggestions. I really appreciate that.
Here we go, the second video of going through my wardrobe with Yvonne Phillips. This time we made a “private” fashion show only for you, putting a few pieces together and styling them with handbags, shoes and jewellery that we thought would “pop up” the look.
The video became too long so I made part 1 with trousers and jumpsuits and next week it will be around tops and jackets. Can’t wait to show you all.
I was so excited to receive my Samsonite cabin luggage and laptop bag back. The cabin suitcase is personalized and came with my initials “SB” on it. It combines strength with lightness and is perfect for me when travelling only with cabin baggage. In airports and shopping centres I can easily attach the case handle over my backrest and pull it along. The quality is high with a number of great features including a retractable identification label. It has lockable zips and soft touch handles.
The laptop backpack is just what I have been looking for. I wanted a stylish bag that allows me to safely carry my computer. It is made to the very highest standards and has it’s of pockets for all the items that I carry with me on a daily basis. I chose black to match the backrest
of my wheelchair and to provide versatility in matching the clothes I wear.
The “#”s they use in their socials are #generationgo #womensquad #mysamsonite all that I 100% support, please join the conversation.
I made a review on my youtube channel. I will attach the link below. The pictures in this blog are taken by Roy Ikoroha and this lovely red dress is by Vinnette Grant.
