Hello guys.
Delighted and impressed. It sums up how I felt on Sunday, when I passed by the National Tennis Centre in London to take a look at a blind tennis tournament.  It was the first time I ever watched it, although I already heard about it. There were long rallies and good points. It was real tennis!

                                                                                                    The players in action.
These players are partially sighted and play off two bounces using a smaller court and a foam ball which  a table tennis ball inside it  filled with ball bearings to make a noise. They use smaller racket as well.
Silent  is prior to the game environment, otherwise they wouldn’t be able to follow the noise inside the ball.
Take a look at the video in the link below, you will see the footage from the men’s final and how amazing it was!
They really can play!
Totally blind people also play.  They have 3 bounces and the court is marked out with string under tape so the players can feel where they are.  Check out the video.
Who let the dogs out? These cute guys are responsible for guiding the players all around…
Did you like it? Let me know what you think of tennis for the partially sighted and blind players…

Love <3
